The module covers chilled water systems, heating hot water systems, condenser water systems, and the associated pump selection, piping layout, and sizing procedures for each.
Pump selection requires calculating the total system head at the design flow rate, then selecting a pump whose curve intersects the system curve at the design operating point. The module covers this methodology with workshops on pump selection and performance evaluation.
